Responsibilities
- Line Concepts: Collaboration in setting up and optimizing production lines (Line Balancing)
- Engineering Interface: Close exchange on new design concepts and constructive consulting for new and further developments
- Manufacturing Fixtures: Implementation of innovative fixture concepts for production
- Manufacturing Documentation: Review and release of new manufacturing documentation according to department standards and technical experience
- Manufacturing Engineering Data: Creation of all relevant manufacturing data and standard operating instructions (SOI)
- SAP Master Data: Creation of bills of materials and production plans in SAP according to defined standards
- Cost Calculation: Performing cost calculations and target/actual comparisons of manufacturing costs
- Production Support: Supporting production areas, solving manufacturing-related problems, and processing quality notifications
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a technical field (at least Bachelor's) or a qualified further education as a technician with subject-specific additional qualifications (e.g., REFA, MTM)
- Several years of professional experience in production planning, development, manufacturing/production, and design
- Experience in manufacturing processes as well as manufacturing and assembly technology
- Proficient use of SAP and MS Office; initial application knowledge of Catia V5 is an advantage
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel
- Strong teamwork skills, analytical thinking, and an independent way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
