Responsibilities
- Master Data Management: Maintain and update material master records in IT tools
- Data Analysis: Extract information from various systems and verify the correctness of part identifiers
- System Integration: Create material master records in the PDM system and transfer them to SAP systems
- Material Identification: Identify spare parts and operating supplies for aircraft programs and create master records in SAP
- Process Optimization: Search for alternative uses in case of shortages and define procurement alternatives
- Documentation: Provide decision-making bases, maintain safety data sheets, and incorporate hazardous substance information
- Coordination: Coordinate interfaces between engineering, production, logistics, and other specialist departments
- Process Development: Create and maintain training materials, user manuals, and process instructions
Qualifications
- Completed degree in engineering, aerospace, or mechanical engineering (at least Bachelor's) or completed training as a technician / master craftsman with many years of experience
- Many years of experience in using databases or PLM systems
- Knowledge of the basic use of materials in NATO and their supply concepts
- Proficient use of MS Office and detailed experience in handling SAP (individual views and plants)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Strong teamwork skills and careful, structured way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
