We are currently looking for a Material & Project Planner Modification Aviation for our client Lufthansa Technik AG at their Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel location. In this varied position, you will manage complex supply processes relating to equipment modifications and act as the interface between engineering, purchasing, and material planning. Tasks

  • Coordination and management of equipment modification campaigns based on technical documents such as service bulletins, airworthiness directives or retrofit information letters
  • Review and negotiation of loan equipment availability with manufacturers or material planners, including SAP-supported procurement and return
  • Preparation of customer-specific offers, taking into account economic conditions
  • Ensuring the supply chain for retrofit campaigns in compliance with contractual requirements
  • Identification and elimination of structural material bottlenecks and analysis of deviations in the production process
  • Initiation of process changes for identified weaknesses in the overall portfolio
  • Consulting on operational and content-related questions concerning the product modification campaign
  • Monitoring of contract fulfilment and regular communication within the product and line organisation

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in industrial engineering, economics or comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in aircraft and equipment maintenance
  • In-depth knowledge of modification control, materials management, business administration fundamentals and equipment supply
  • Very good technical and analytical understanding
  • Good scheduling and planning skills
  • Good knowledge of SAP R/3, MAX, SAP BW and MS Office
  • Proficient German and English language skills (at least B2 in each)
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for work and to participate in job-related training
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
