Tasks
- Disposition of components in the repair process and identification of bottlenecks and alternatives
- Monitoring of throughput times and deadlines, analysis of deviations and communication with internal interfaces
- Ensuring delivery reliability for modules and assemblies, taking customer requirements into account
- Calculating costs, including preliminary and final calculations
- Maintaining delivery status and posting material movements in the system
- Carrying out inventories and processing special tasks and project work
Qualifications
- Completed skilled worker training or completed commercial training (e.g. as a warehouse logistics specialist or industrial clerk)
- Many years of professional experience in materials planning or production control, ideally in aviation
- Additional qualifications such as master craftsman or state-certified technician desirable
- In-depth knowledge of SAP R/3 and confident use of common MS Office applications
- Good German and English skills (at least B2)
- Strong commercial understanding and scheduling and planning skills
- Willingness to undertake further professional training and to work in the UK and abroad
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is essential
