Tasks

  • Disposition of components in the repair process and identification of bottlenecks and alternatives
  • Monitoring of throughput times and deadlines, analysis of deviations and communication with internal interfaces
  • Ensuring delivery reliability for modules and assemblies, taking customer requirements into account
  • Calculating costs, including preliminary and final calculations
  • Maintaining delivery status and posting material movements in the system
  • Carrying out inventories and processing special tasks and project work

Qualifications

  • Completed skilled worker training or completed commercial training (e.g. as a warehouse logistics specialist or industrial clerk)
  • Many years of professional experience in materials planning or production control, ideally in aviation
  • Additional qualifications such as master craftsman or state-certified technician desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP R/3 and confident use of common MS Office applications
  • Good German and English skills (at least B2)
  • Strong commercial understanding and scheduling and planning skills
  • Willingness to undertake further professional training and to work in the UK and abroad
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is essential
