Responsibilities


  • Chemical analyses and materials testing on raw materials, components, and finished products according to established procedures
  • Laboratory equipment operation, maintenance, and support in troubleshooting
  • Sample preparation for testing, including precise weighing, dilution, and other necessary preparation steps
  • Documentation and interpretation of test results, as well as identification of deviations and potential problems
  • Test reports creation and comprehensive documentation of all testing activities
  • Collaboration with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to clarify material-related questions and support root cause analyses
  • Test methods co-development and validation, as well as support for continuous improvement initiatives in the materials testing department
  • Safety regulations and quality standards in the laboratory environment consistently adhered to


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester or Chemical Laboratory Assistant
  • Many years of professional experience in laboratory work and materials testing
  • Solid knowledge in the operation and troubleshooting of common laboratory equipment for chemical testing
  • Deep understanding of chemical principles and analytical techniques for material characterization
  • Advanced application knowledge in SAP/R3 and Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
  • Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and quality management systems (e.g., AS/EN 9100) is an advantage
  • Willingness to work occasional late shifts
  • High precision, attention to detail, methodical work approach, teamwork, and good communication skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
