We are looking for you as a Measurement Technician Aircraft Construction for our customer Airbus Aerostructures GmbH at their Hamburg Finkenwerder location. In this position, you will be responsible for high-precision measurements on aircraft structures, thereby making a decisive contribution to quality assurance in production. Tasks

  • Planning and performing geometric measurements on production facilities, fixtures, and aircraft structures and components using coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)
  • Selecting suitable measurement strategies and systems, including processing 3D CAD models and programming measurement sequence control
  • Analysis and visualization of measurement results, as well as determining the causes of deviations and initiating corrective measures
  • Coordination of goods dispatch and receipt, coordination with the design department, and communication with external service providers
  • Carrying out incoming goods inspections and actively participating in meetings

Qualifications

  • Completed training with additional qualification as a technician / master craftsman or completed degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, geomatics, measurement technology or comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in the fields of measurement technology, engineering and surveying
  • Initial experience in production / manufacturing and quality management
  • Knowledge of laser measurement and scanning systems
  • Confident use of Google Workspace
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and advanced English (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work in a 2-shift operation
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
