Tasks
- Carrying out defined quality inspections until delivery of the product
- Measurement and evaluation of engine/valve components and ALM parts on 3D measuring machines
- Labelling of deviations on products, equipment and test equipment
- Identification of deviations and certification of product conformity according to design documents
- Creation of quality reports
- Carrying out measurements using optical 2D and 3D inspection methods
- Close cooperation with other departments (production, design)
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in a metalworking profession or as a master craftsman or technician
- Several years of professional experience in metrology, quality management and quality assurance as well as experience in turning and milling is an advantage
- Knowledge in handling measuring devices relevant for quality inspection
- Expertise in handling 3D measuring devices (optical and tactile) is an advantage
- Good understanding of complex drawings with complex shape and position tolerances, confident handling of various testing and measuring equipment (e.g. roughness contour measuring devices)
- In-depth user knowledge of SAP R/3
- Existing, unrestricted work permit for the EU
