We are currently looking for anMechanic Aerospace Manufacturing for our customer Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Nordenham who has manual dexterity, a sense of responsibility, and team spirit. Tasks

  • Manual reworking and straightening of spherically curved sheet metal parts
  • Sawing, shearing, cutting, drilling, and folding of complex components
  • Manual chamfering and deburring (by hand or machine)
  • Checking components for completeness and dimensional accuracy
  • Storage and requisitioning of materials, fixtures, and tools, as well as their inspection
  • Preparation, scaffolding, and adjustment of machines
  • Bundling of components for damage-free transport

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology, or in a comparable metalworking profession with many years of professional experience
  • Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production, aircraft construction and aerospace
  • Business fluent German skills (at least C1)
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift operation
  • Independent, structured, and forward-thinking approach to work
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
