For our client HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer at the Ulm site. In a highly specialized environment, you will develop mechanical and electromechanical solutions for high-frequency antennas in radar systems – from requirement analysis to manufacturing-ready documentation.

The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 65,552 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 30.04.2027. Responsibilities
- Requirement Analysis: Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical specifications and translate them into design solutions
- Concept Development: Contribute to design solutions considering functional, manufacturing, and economic aspects
- Component and Material Selection: Specify and select required components, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Technical Reviews: Review drawing sets and provide technical support for design reviews
- Development Documentation: Professionally document results in the form of drawings, parts lists, and technical reports
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field (at least Bachelor's)
- Many years of professional experience in design, ideally in the field of antenna or radar systems
- Good knowledge of general and current design, technology, and process standards
- Proficient use of Siemens NX; knowledge of SAP ECTR and SAP PLM is an advantage
- Business fluent German (at least C1); proficient English (at least B2)
- Communication skills, teamwork, and independent working style
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
