As a Mechatronics Engineer / Aviation Integration Mechanic, you will be based at Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Immenstaad, working on target display drones: integrating, testing, repairing, and commissioning them on site. Tasks
- Integration and final testing of target display drones
- Integration of standard mechanical and electronic assemblies
- Repair and maintenance of target display drones
- Alignment and integration of payload assemblies, including crimping and soldering work
- Performing acceptance tests on assemblies and complete systems
- Setup and commissioning of ground equipment on site
- Integration and setup of target presentation drones on site
- Collaboration during the campaign in the assigned area of responsibility
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an electronics technician for aeronautical systems (aircraft electronics technician), industrial mechanic, mechanic, or mechatronics engineer
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production as well as in mechanics (aviation) or mechatronics
- Initial to several years of relevant experience in integration, maintenance, or repair (depending on the area of application)
- Soldering and crimping training according to ECSS desirable
- Knowledge of manned and unmanned aircraft construction an advantage
- Business fluent in German (at least C1); advanced English (at least B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
