Tasks
- Manufacture, modification, and integration of multi-layer insulation (MLI) according to defined specifications
- Independent implementation of work instructions and quality assurance measures using activity control sheets (ACS)
- Mechanical integration of satellite assemblies at various locations and participation in international test and launch campaigns
- Maintenance and updating of the MLI material database and participation in process optimization
- Support in the creation of technical documentation and process descriptions
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an automotive mechanic, mechanic, or in a metalworking profession
- Many years of professional experience, particularly in the manufacture of MLI for space applications
- Several years of practical experience in the mechanical integration of satellite assemblies
- Knowledge of ECSS standards and aerospace standards is an advantage
- Confident use of MS Office
- Very good German and English skills (at least C1 in each)
- Willingness to work at different locations and participate in international campaigns
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
