For our client Airbus Defence and Space GmbH at the Taufkirchen / Munich location, we are looking for you as a Service Owner Network Infrastructure. You will assume technical operational responsibility for the network infrastructure, manage providers, and ensure that LAN/WAN/WiFi and DDI run reliably. The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 69,695 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 31.12.2027. Tasks

  • Assuming technical operational responsibility for the network infrastructure in Germany based on ITIL
  • Ensuring stable, high-quality operation of LAN, WAN, WiFi, and DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management)
  • Managing IT service providers in accordance with contractually defined KPIs and SLAs
  • Collaborating with internal IT teams on projects and during the implementation of new network-related solutions
  • Planning and controlling costs within the area of responsibility, including continuous development and improvement
  • Providing technical support for root cause analyses and, in particular, for operational disruptions
  • Managing highly privileged administrative access and permissions within the area of responsibility


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Extensive experience in the operation and further development of campus networks
  • In-depth knowledge of LAN, WAN, WiFi, and DDI (DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management)
  • Extensive experience with Cisco switches & routers, Cisco Wireless LAN controllers & access points, and EfficientIP
  • Solid knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly Service Operations
  • Business-fluent in German and English (min. C1)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
