For our client Diehl Aerospace GmbH, we are looking for an Operational Buyer Aviation at the Überlingen site. In the indirect procurement department, you support the development and production of high-end aviation products through the professional sourcing of consumables and services.

Responsibilities
- Procurement processes in indirect purchasing (General Procurement) initiate and manage independently
- Order management: Monitor order confirmations and process invoice workflows
- Supplier management: Obtain quotations and prepare supplier selection within assigned commodity groups
- Price analysis and comparisons to ensure cost-effective procurement
- Utilize SAP Ariba as the modern procurement platform for all purchasing activities
- Supplier support: Actively monitor, manage, and develop selected suppliers in line with continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Completed commercial apprenticeship or a completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in operational purchasing, particularly in the procurement of engineering services, consumables, or machinery and equipment
- Experience in the areas of scheduling and material procurement
- Proficient use of SAP (R/3, S/4HANA), MS Office, and the procurement platform SAP Ariba
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Good communication skills, team orientation, and an independent way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
