Tasks
Painting of cabin components for VIP and special mission aircraft in accordance with technical specifications
Performing all preparatory work such as sanding, filling, priming and staining
Refining real wood veneer surfaces using high-quality coatings
Applying clear, colored, textured and metallic paint systems to the highest quality standards
Executing spot repairs and high-gloss polishing for visually demanding results
Operating computer-controlled color mixing systems and paint analysis devices
Ensuring the proper use and careful handling of operating equipment, machines and tools
Making decisions to ensure professional, timely and cost-effective execution of all assigned tasks
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a painter or carpenter with specialization in high-quality coating work, or equivalent long-term professional experience
- Relevant experience in painting visually demanding surfaces
- Sound knowledge of accident prevention regulations, environmental protection and hazardous materials regulations
- Basic knowledge in the use of IT systems
- Good German and English language skills (at least B1)
- Willingness to work in a two-shift system and to participate in job-related further training
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visas are not sufficient) is mandatory
