For our client Diehl Aviation Laupheim GmbH, we are looking for a Painter and Varnisher at the Hamburg site. In cabin outfitting, you are responsible for the timely and high-quality surface treatment of CFRP, plastic, and metal components – from preparation to the final paint application.

Responsibilities
- Surface preparation: Perform filling and sanding work on CFRP, plastic, and metal components to create paintable surfaces
- Schedule and quality responsibility: Ensure timely processing and surface quality of assemblies in cabin outfitting
- Production control: Control and monitor manufacturing processes and document them according to the production order
- Material management: Manage operating and consumable materials as well as monitor equipment and tool inventory
- Interface coordination: Ensure compliance with quality, cost, and schedule requirements from internal interfaces
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a painter and varnisher or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in aircraft construction, specifically as a painter, ideally in the aerospace industry
- In-depth application knowledge of MS Office and SAP
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and basic English skills (at least A2)
- Knowledge of Diehl Aviation components is an advantage
- Willingness to work shifts (early and late shift) and possibly on-call duty on weekends
- Independent, structured, and results-oriented way of working, team skills, and a high sense of responsibility
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
