An exciting challenge as a Process Analysis Engineer H135 / H145 awaits you at our customer Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth. You will work on highly complex components for the H135, H145, and Tiger – and thus make a direct contribution to the safety and performance of helicopters used internationally. Tasks

  • Strength calculation and service life analysis of metal and fiber composite components in the field of dynamic systems
  • Application of analytical methods and performance of sophisticated FEM analyses
  • Planning, performance, and evaluation of tests and flight test campaigns
  • Evaluation of quality reports, production deviations, and customer inquiries
  • Verification of repairs and modifications
  • Support with operational investigations and safety-related issues

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering with a focus on strength analyses
  • In-depth knowledge of common analytical strength methods (e.g., HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
  • Very good user knowledge of FEM tools such as Hypermesh, Optistruct, NASTRAN, or ABAQUS
  • Business fluent English skills (at least C1), German language skills are an advantage 
  • Resume in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
