At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Process Engineer for Cabin Assembly to manage the entire process chain for cabin assembly of the A320 family. You define manufacturing concepts, optimize processes, and translate design specifications into efficient production orders – from series production to unplanned events.

Responsibilities
- Manufacturing concepts for cabin assembly by selecting and defining required tools and equipment
- Production specifications from design documents by creating, calculating, validating, and scheduling them on time
- Operational support for production areas and close coordination with departments such as quality assurance and logistics
- Problem analysis and initiation of appropriate corrective measures for manufacturing issues
- Process documentation and weak point analysis to identify optimization potential
- Process improvements by implementing measures to ensure continuous productivity increases
- Technical consultation for the design department regarding the development of construction documents
Qualifications
- Completed degree (at least Bachelor's) in Aircraft Construction, Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
- Several years of experience in work preparation, ideally in aircraft construction or aerospace
- Experience in project management is an advantage
- Proficient use of SAP (in-depth application knowledge) and knowledge of CAD tools
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Willingness for occasional shift work (2–3 weeks per year)
- Good knowledge of Lean Management and Process Management
- Teamwork, communication skills, and independent working style
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
