Tasks
- Development and refinement of a line concept/line balancing for H175 production
- Close collaboration with engineering on new design concepts and their transfer to production
- Implementation and industrialization of innovative fixture concepts and design consulting for new and further developments
- Creation and maintenance of manufacturing engineering data, including review and approval of construction documents according to standards and empirical values
- Creation of basic data in SAP (including parts lists and production plans) and creation of standard operating instructions (SOI)
- Cost calculations, including target/actual comparisons of manufacturing costs and derivation of measures
- Support for manufacturing areas, solving manufacturing problems, processing quality reports, and implementing design changes
- Planning/monitoring retrofits and rework in the external final assembly line/flight line (including manufacturing orders and material provision – outstanding work)
Qualifications
- Degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or a technical field, or qualified further training as a technician with relevant additional qualifications (e.g., REFA or MTM)
- Several years of professional experience in work preparation, development, manufacturing/production, and design
- Experience in manufacturing processes and in manufacturing and assembly technology
- In-depth application knowledge of SAP Basic knowledge of CATIA V5
- Business fluent in German (at least C1); business fluent in English (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
- Very good technical understanding and independent and conscientious way of working
