Responsibilities
- Fine finishing of components by polishing and grinding resin and edges to specification
- Laminating carbon fiber (CFRP) and glass fiber (GFRP) reinforced plastics
- Vacuum bagging setup for the processing of composite materials
- Material logistics including ordering and commissioning of required goods
- Documentation of all work performed as well as any non-conformities
- Operation of lifting and hoisting equipment for material handling
- Transport and maintenance of work equipment and operating supplies
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a boatbuilder, precision mechanic, carpenter or process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology
- Several years of professional experience in plastics and rubber technology
- Practical experience in processing and working with composite materials (CFRP/GFRP)
- Valid crane operator license (can also be submitted shortly after start of assignment)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and basic English skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work shifts in a 3-shift system and flexible deployment at various workstations
- High quality awareness, quick comprehension and independent way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
