At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Product Integration Project Manager for product integration into the Single Aisle Final Assembly Line (FAL). As a central interface between the program, engineering, production, and supply chain, you ensure an efficient and timely transition of new products into series production.

Responsibilities


  • Requirement Management: Identify and coordinate industrial requirements for product development projects across all relevant manufacturing areas
  • Assembly Conceptualization: Define assembly concepts, manufacturing processes and systems and monitor their implementation
  • Interface Coordination: Act as a central hub, coordinating collaboration between the program, Industrial Architects, Supply Chain, and quality assurance
  • Review Execution: Prepare industrial reviews within the framework of the Industrial Development Plan (IDP) and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data
  • Project Management Support: Support Industrial Programme Leaders in overarching IDP and PDP reviews
  • Risk Management: Conduct regular risk and opportunity assessments for manufacturing areas and integrate them into project management
  • Cost Responsibility: Ensure industrialization according to defined cost targets and a stable transition into series production
  • Process Optimization: Initiate lessons-learned reviews after key milestones to sustainably optimize future processes


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in automotive engineering, engineering, aerospace, or a technical field (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience in project management
  • Initial professional experience in product development and industrialization process management
  • Proficient use of Google Workspace; knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Skywise) advantageous
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German or French skills advantageous
  • Willingness to undertake approximately 4-5 business trips per year worldwide
  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness, structured working method, and pronounced problem-solving competence
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
