At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Product Introduction Engineer to steer the introduction of new products and processes into series production. In a transnational team, you coordinate industrialization at suppliers and ensure quality and schedule adherence from development to series maturity.

Responsibilities


  • Supplier Management: Take responsibility for supplier On Quality On Time (OQOT) performance and manage contract execution
  • Project Control: Monitor and coordinate Transfer of Work (ToW) and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities at multiple suppliers
  • Process Optimization: Implement recovery, improvement, and development plans to ensure compliant product and service delivery
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate all stakeholders involved in supplier operations management and contribute to Multi-Functional Teams (MFT)
  • Cost Management: Manage project costs for all involved team members
  • Reporting: Track project status in the SMP IT tool and ensure a consistent overview of the industrial process
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the maturity of the Work Package (WP) before handover to the serial Supply Chain Quality Manager (SCQM)


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Engineering, a technical field, or Industrial Engineering (at least Bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, and Supply Chain
  • Initial experience in Logistics and Project Management
  • Proficient use of SAP (detailed functions) and Google Workspace
  • Good knowledge of Lean Management, Process Management, Risk Management, and Total Quality Management
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German, Spanish, or French advantageous
  • Willingness to travel within Europe (approx. once per month) and potentially to India (approx. once per quarter)
  • Independent, structured, and results-oriented working style as well as strong communication skills
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
