Tasks
- Responsibility for the product backlog of a software product in the field of electronic warfare (COMINT)
- Creation, maintenance, and prioritization of product requirements, including clear, understandable preparation for the development team
- Active stakeholder management as the central interface between product management, project management, and the development and test team
- Ensuring regular product releases through plannable increments over multiple sprint cycles
- Coordination of features with the product manager and determination of the development sequence according to maximum benefit
- Participation in Scrum events (sprint planning, review, retrospective) and clarification of technical queries in the sprint
- Introduction of suitable methods for measuring success and deriving concrete improvement measures
- Acceptance of the functionalities developed in the sprint and ensuring the agreed quality
Qualifications
- Completed degree (at least a bachelor's) in computer science or a related field with a focus on software development or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a product owner or in a comparable role in an agile environment
- Confident use of agile development and planning tools (including IBM DOORS, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project)
- Very good technical understanding of modern software development (especially Java, C++)
- Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1 in each)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility, resilience, and organizational skills
