Responsibilities


  • Inspection Planning: Lead complex quality topics and develop, optimize, and ensure compliance with inspection standards according to the inspection strategy
  • Control Plans: Define, create, and release inspection specifications for quality assurance and continuously optimize control plans
  • Failure Analysis: Identify potential failure sources in products and processes in a structured manner using Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Process Optimization: Systematically improve intra- and inter-departmental processes and optimize the inspection strategy
  • Problem Solving: Conduct systematic failure analyses using Practical Problem Solving methods, such as 9S and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Documentation: Create process descriptions and ensure compliance with Airbus standards
  • Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate multifunctional teams (MFTs)


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable technical field (at least Technician/Specialist level)
  • Several years of professional experience in Manufacturing Engineering as well as in Quality Management and Quality Assurance
  • Experience in Mathematics/Statistics, especially Statistical Process Control (SPC), is advantageous
  • Proficient use of MS Excel (detailed functions) and in-depth application knowledge of SAP
  • German at native level; business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Knowledge in the areas of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) as well as technical drawing reading required
  • Practical experience with SPC and programming skills in Python and SQL are advantageous
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, excellent analytical abilities, and an independent and structured way of working
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
