At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder, you will contribute to the digital future of manufacturing as Manager Production Systems & Digitalization. Your focus will be on the global rollout and further development of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) – tailored to international stakeholders, production realities, and strategic requirements. Responsibility, visibility, and creative freedom – this position combines IT expertise with operational excellence.

Tasks
- Integration and implementation of the global MES digital strategy at all locations and programs
- Coordination of global MES network activities and rollout planning, taking local requirements into account
- Communication interface between production teams, engineering, IT, and international stakeholders
- Change management, including training, governance workshops, and communication measures
- Monitoring and reporting using KPIs and 4-box reports for progress control and risk assessment
- Budget control for assigned deliverables and support of the MiP (Move into Production) process
- Participation in international workshops and occasional business trips within Europe
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering, project management, industrial engineering, business administration, or international management
- Many years of professional experience in production planning, process planning, and work preparation
- Experience in change management and with IT systems in a production environment (MES, ERP, etc.)
- Good knowledge of lean management, project management, and risk management
- Confident use of Google Workspace; knowledge of Skywise is an advantage
- Business fluent English (at least C1); other foreign languages such as German, French, or Spanish are a plus
- Resume in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
