Tasks
- Planning and procurement of intralogistics systems such as automated storage systems, crane systems and conveyor technology
- Commissioning and modification of existing machinery and equipment
- Analysis and further development of technical systems to improve efficiency
- Automation of internal processes to optimize utilization of operating resources
- Participation in international and national projects for the equipment of production sites
- Consulting internal customers on machinery, equipment and operating resources
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience with intralogistics or production systems or technical building equipment desirable
- Basic knowledge of occupational safety and environmental regulations (e.g. Machinery Directive, Federal Immission Control Act, Operational Safety Ordinance)
- Good general computer skills (MS Office required)
- Good knowledge of German (at least B2) and advanced English skills (at least B1)
- Strong team skills and analytical thinking
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
