In an international aerospace environment, you will take on a key role as Project Manager Configuration Management at Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder, overseeing and implementing configuration changes for the A330 and A350 fleet. You will operate at the interface of engineering, production and program management – with direct impact on the industrial realization of technical modifications. Tasks
- Consolidation and evaluation of decision-making elements for change gates, taking into account functional and international requirements
- Acting as Product Change Leader, Configuration Management Operational Manager and Industrial Integrator within the Aircraft Change Process (ICC-ACP)
- Ensuring the technical embodiment of changes in close collaboration with Engineering and Production
- Analysis of industrial feasibility and Final Assembly Line (FAL) requirements
- Independent organization and facilitation of coordination meetings and alignment sessions
- Monitoring of MOD (Modification) closure in accordance with the program schedule, and management of cluster decisions within the Decision Board
- Application and follow-up of the Airbus Attestation Process from a Configuration Management perspective
- Execution of Delta1 gap analyses for change impact assessment
Qualifications
- Completed technical degree or qualification as technician / technical specialist in the fields of electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, aircraft construction or a comparable discipline
- Several years of experience in configuration management, along with hands-on practice in manufacturing / production, aircraft construction, project management, and customer service
- Knowledge in change management, project management, and risk management
- Fluent German and English skills (at least C1); French is an advantage
- Familiarity with the ICC-ACP process is desirable
- Willingness to travel within Europe (1–2 times per quarter, mainly to Toulouse)
- CV in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visa not sufficient) is mandatory
