Responsibilities
- Obsolescence Management: End-to-end management of obsolescence cases in your own portfolio, from identification to solution implementation
- Stakeholder Coordination: Main interface to internal stakeholders such as program management, design office, procurement, and logistics
- Risk Analysis and Reduction: Assessment of impacts on series production and fleet, and definition of priorities and solution scenarios
- Project Control: Tracking the implementation of chosen solutions (redesign, last-time buy, qualification) up to the disruption date
- Database and System Maintenance: Updating the obsolescence database and identifying obsolete references in the ERP system
- Budget Management: Responsibility for budget allocation and tracking of funds for obsolescence cases
- Strategic Communication: Regular reporting to management and stakeholders, and presentation of risks and solutions
- Supplier Management: Conducting obsolescence days with key suppliers to develop strategy and solutions
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Business Administration or a similar field (at least Bachelor's)
- Several years of professional experience in IT/information systems, project management, and supply chain
- Experience in aerospace and with technical documentation
- Proficient use of MS Office and SAP; knowledge of Google Suite is an advantage
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1); French language skills are desirable
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
- Teamwork skills, strong communication skills, and independent way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
