At Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching, you will work as a Project Manager / PM Officer, steering processes and key performance indicators for one of the most important military development programs. You will establish governance structures, monitor adherence to time, cost, and quality targets, and ensure transparent reporting and efficient project control with your analytical perspective.

Responsibilities


  • Establish project governance and ensure compliance with processes and standards
  • Perform detailed planning of work packages, keep them updated in the official tool (UP), and analyze and resolve schedule clashes
  • Conduct work package reviews to identify performance shortfalls and scope changes (e.g., Earned Value Management)
  • Define relevant KPIs for Time, Cost, Quality, and Performance and manage reporting
  • Suggest mitigation and recovery actions and follow up on their implementation
  • Perform Risk and Opportunity Management (R&O) and keep the ARM tool updated
  • Support and accompany the Matuty Gates process


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Engineering
  • Many years of professional experience in project management (at least 4 years)
  • Experience in the role of a Project Management Officer
  • Experience with Google Workspace and Unified Planning is an advantage
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German language skills are a plus
  • Ability to work with diverse stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds and in international teams
  • Teamwork skills, communication strength, and analytical thinking
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
