At Airbus Helicopters Deutschland GmbH in Donauwörth, you will take on the role of Purchasing Specialist, responsible for strategic procurement and supplier management for a defined range of components. You will analyze markets, conduct negotiations, and coordinate the entire supply chain – from disposition to warehouse availability. Your goal is to ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality material supply for helicopter manufacturing.

Responsibilities
- Market Analysis: Analyze procurement markets for your purchasing area and evaluate opportunities and risks
- Supplier Management: Evaluate suppliers, onboard new ones, and provide continuous support
- Price and Value Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analyses and clarify logistical issues
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms, quantities, and prices with suppliers, including in English
- Contract Management: Finalize individual contracts within the defined financial framework and submit deviations for approval
- Disposition and Control: Plan and control the entire supply chain (E2E) for your component spectrum
- SAP Order Processing: Generate purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and call off new orders
- Process Responsibility: Assume responsibility for all downstream processes after goods receipt until components are available in stock
Qualifications
- Completed commercial or technical vocational training, at least at the level of a certified specialist or technician, or a completed degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain / Logistics
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing, disposition / material procurement, manufacturing / production, or supply chain / logistics
- Practical experience in technical documentation and as a technical clerk
- Proficient use of MS Office and SAP (knowledge of detailed functions)
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
- Completed technician training is an advantage
- Teamwork skills, structured and conscientious way of working, as well as good communication and assertiveness
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
