Tasks
- Perform quality inspections and acceptance tests on civil MCA assemblies (Major Component Assembly – large component structures)
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and prepare all required delivery documentation
- Conduct first article inspections on internally manufactured assemblies
- Raise non-conformance reports, initiate and monitor corrective actions
- Support final assembly with quality assurance activities prior to delivery
- Supervise production staff with L1/L2 delegation responsibility
- Carry out fault diagnostics on systems and equipment to ensure airworthiness
- Coordinate problem-solving activities and support ongoing Lean initiatives
Qualifications
- Completed technical vocational training (e.g. as aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic or electronics technician) with further qualification as Master Craftsman or Technician
- Proven experience in the aerospace sector and in quality assurance
- Several years of experience in electrical systems, production or mechatronics
- Initial experience in quality inspection or quality-related tasks
- Proficient use of MS Office and SAP
- Business fluent German skills (min. C1) and good English skills (min. B2)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
