Tasks
- Performing inspections and assessments on landing gear components
- Visual and dimensional checks to identify damage or wear
- Documenting findings in accordance with technical standards
- Coordinating with adjacent departments on complex evaluations
- Using tools and measuring equipment according to work instructions
- Complying with safety and quality guidelines, including AVSEC and Human Factors training
Qualifications
- Successfully completed vocational training in a metalworking or technical profession, e.g. as an aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, cutting machine operator, precision mechanic or construction mechanic
- First professional experience in aviation technology or maintenance desirable
- Basic knowledge of metalworking required
- Good knowledge of German (at least B2) and basic English (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in a 2-shift model
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (not a student visa) is mandatory
- Crane license required
