Tasks
- Analysis of technical quality issues and evaluation of reported deviations in the manufacturing process
- Conducting quality inspections, final checks and certifications according to defined standards
- Approval of components and construction deviation management during aircraft assembly
- Processing non-conformities, including deadline tracking and documentation
- Troubleshooting technical malfunctions in close coordination with production and engineering
- Providing technical instruction and support to authorised inspection personnel
- Training and familiarising new employees with the inspection area and accepting work samples
- Applying structured methods such as PPS (Practical Problem Solving) for root cause analysis
Qualifications
- Completed training as a technician/specialist in vehicle construction, mechanical engineering, aerospace or aircraft construction
- Several years of professional experience in quality assurance, mechanical engineering or aviation production
- In-depth user knowledge of SAP; experience with Google Workspace is an advantage
- Good knowledge of lean management
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
- Willingness to work in 2 to 3 shifts and in confined spaces
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
