Tasks

  • Analysis of technical quality issues and evaluation of reported deviations in the manufacturing process
  • Conducting quality inspections, final checks and certifications according to defined standards
  • Approval of components and construction deviation management during aircraft assembly
  • Processing non-conformities, including deadline tracking and documentation
  • Troubleshooting technical malfunctions in close coordination with production and engineering
  • Providing technical instruction and support to authorised inspection personnel
  • Training and familiarising new employees with the inspection area and accepting work samples
  • Applying structured methods such as PPS (Practical Problem Solving) for root cause analysis

Qualifications

  • Completed training as a technician/specialist in vehicle construction, mechanical engineering, aerospace or aircraft construction
  • Several years of professional experience in quality assurance, mechanical engineering or aviation production
  • In-depth user knowledge of SAP; experience with Google Workspace is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of lean management
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and good English skills (at least B2)
  • Willingness to work in 2 to 3 shifts and in confined spaces
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
