We are looking for a meticulous Quality Inspector Aerospace for our client ArianeGroup GmbH at their Taufkirchen near Munich site. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the dimensional and functional accuracy of propulsion and valve components – advancing European aerospace with every measurement you take. Apply now and safeguard aerospace quality with your expertise!

Tasks

  • Perform defined quality inspections throughout the entire product lifecycle
  • Measure and evaluate propulsion and valve components, including additively manufactured parts, using 3D coordinate measuring machines
  • Handle a wide range of measuring tools, including surface roughness and contour measuring devices
  • Identify deviations in products, equipment, or measuring instruments and document them accordingly
  • Verify product conformity in accordance with technical drawings and design documents
  • Create quality notifications and perform optical 2D and 3D measurements
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing and design teams to ensure adherence to quality standards

Qualifications

  • Completed training in a metalworking profession, ideally with further training as a technician or master craftsman
  • Many years of professional experience in measurement technology, quality management, and quality assurance
  • Experience with tactile and optical 3D measuring devices is essential
  • Knowledge of turning and milling is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of SAP/R3 and confident handling of technical drawings and form and position tolerances
  • Good German skills (at least B2) and basic knowledge of English
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is essential
