Tasks

  • Operation of measuring machines such as 3D coordinate measuring systems and optical measurement systems
  • Inspection of composite components using both classical and optical 3D measurement tools
  • Evaluation and documentation of measurement results, including through the use of statistical methods
  • Creation of defect descriptions in the form of non-conformance reports in case of deviations from specifications
  • Planning and execution of inspection procedures, including for special or first-off parts
  • Preparation of technical inspection documentation and analyses to support continuous quality improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational and safety regulations
  • Selection of appropriate measuring equipment and definition of framework conditions for measurement tasks

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology, or a comparable technical qualification, each at least at master level
  • Extensive professional experience in manufacturing/production and in plastics and rubber technology, as well as several years of experience in quality assurance
  • Further training in non-destructive testing (NDT Level 2 according to EN4179) is desirable
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP, as well as experience with measurement software such as Polyworks and/or Calypso
  • German business fluent (min. C1), English advanced (min. B1)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
