At Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, you will work as a Quality Inspector / Quality Manager (Electrical) to steer product quality during aircraft manufacturing. You coordinate technical inspections, manage manufacturing deviations, and train certified inspectors – where every component must meet quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Product quality assurance during aircraft manufacturing by planning and executing technical inspections
- Manufacturing deviation management: Release components for the subsequent production process
- Non-conformance management: Track, close deviations and complaints on schedule and actively steer troubleshooting
- Technical instructions in the quality area towards production staff and professionally supervise certified inspectors
- Training & qualification: Train and onboard new certified inspectors as well as define and accept work samples
- Practical Problem Solving (PPS): actively conduct and visualize
- Quality problem analysis: Analyze activities using PPS methods for problem resolution
Qualifications
- Vocational training as aircraft mechanic or technical training, at least master level
- Several years of professional experience in electrical systems, aircraft construction, helicopter mechanics, aerospace, mechanics, and quality assurance
- Proficient use of SAP (advanced application knowledge) and Google Workspace
- Business fluent German (at least C1) and proficient English (at least B2)
- Required pre-qualification packages: 3.1, 4 and 9
- Independent, structured, and result-oriented working style
- High degree of responsibility, persuasiveness, and assertiveness
- Strong communicative skills for collaboration with contacts at all levels
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
