Tasks
- Implement APQP elements such as SPC, MSA and control plans in coordination with production and engineering
- Interpret geometric tolerances and validate appropriate measurement methods and equipment
- Plan and supervise quality inspection processes, including creation of inspection plans and dynamic testing concepts
- Create measurement programs using Zeiss CALYPSO, Polyworks, GOM or Tolaris Optic for 3D coordinate measuring systems
- Analyze measurement data using statistical methods, identify root causes and define corrective actions (including MFT coordination)
- Act as a key interface between Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Design Engineering to align test and measurement strategies
- Define inspection parameters such as environmental conditions, material data, and device specifications for each measurement setup
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as industrial mechanic or cutting machine operator, further qualified as a certified technician or business administrator
- Extensive experience (at least four years) in mechanical manufacturing, quality control, and measurement technologies
- Practical knowledge in 3D metrology systems and handling of complex calibration data
- Confident in using core quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA and other APQP principles
- Solid understanding of geometric product specification ISO standards
- Fluent German skills (at least C1) and proficient English skills (at least B2)
- A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa required) is mandatory
