Tasks

  • Analyzing and planning industrial throughput times and capacities for the industrialization of the supply chain in the retrofit environment
  • Controlling the implementation of the technical solution and assuming responsibility on behalf of the program
  • Contributing to retrofit and mitigation strategies and actively challenging approaches to develop viable solutions
  • Translating program and retrofit requirements (e.g., target costs per aircraft, embodiment rate, policy) into usable inputs for the departments involved, including the supply chain manager retrofit
  • Providing all necessary inputs for supply chain industrialization (kits or complex retrofit solutions), including material and parts management
  • Supporting negotiations on supplier capacity and cost coordination, as well as managing material reservations and missing parts
  • Consolidating and managing inputs from engineering, purchasing, suppliers, supply chain, and program to ensure global retrofit strategy (time, cost, quality)
  • Coordinating customer order priorities for retrofit kits and ensuring implementation until final fleet completion

Qualifications

  • Technical degree or degree in business administration or supply chain/logistics (at least a bachelor's degree) [3]
  • Several years of professional experience in the areas of configuration management, purchasing, customer service, production planning and control, and supply chain/logistics
  • Basic knowledge of lean management and good knowledge of project management
  • In-depth application knowledge of SAP and very good knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Business fluent English skills (at least C1); German and French desirable
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
  • Strong communication skills and an independent, structured, and results-oriented approach to work
