Responsibilities
- Safety and reliability analyses to verify design features against targeted safety performance
- System installation support in helicopters to mitigate risks from consequential damage, fire, or bird strike
- Design and architecture support for new developments to secure the success of future programs
- Recommendations for adapting the flight manual for operational safety
- Review of equipment supplier data to ensure compliance with safety and reliability requirements
- Evidence preparation for compliance with regulatory requirements for modification approval
- Support for airworthiness and project management teams in design decisions and certification strategy
Qualifications
- Successfully completed Master's or Diplom degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience as a Design Engineer, in development or engineering, ideally in the aerospace industry
- Experience in technical documentation
- Knowledge of or interest in the design or system architecture of avionics or flight control systems
- Knowledge of or interest in Safety & Reliability as well as helicopter architecture
- Business fluent English (at least C1); good German or French skills are advantageous
- Analytical and structured thinking, initiative, and proactive working style
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
