Responsibilities


  • Software development of test and simulation frameworks (TSF) in C++ and related graphical user interfaces (GUI)
  • Test development and execution: simulation, implementation, and independent execution of unit tests as well as code reviews
  • Application of modern technologies and active contribution to the virtual development environment (mixed environment of simulations and real hardware)
  • Second-level rig support for the test support system AIDASS / MaTE and the simulation framework SI²
  • Customer support in application development and system testing
  • Process improvement: participation in the continuous improvement process
  • Technology consulting and support for software teams regarding concepts and technologies


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, at least Bachelor's level
  • Several years of professional experience in IT/information systems
  • Foundational knowledge in software design, patterns and architecture, system programming, and cross-platform development required
  • Very good programming skills in C++ and ADA following modern standards, as well as excellent Java skills
  • Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git), knowledge of Qt, MFC, or Eclipse RCP frameworks advantageous
  • Business fluent German (at least C1) and business fluent English (at least C1)
  • Technical knowledge in networking and distributed systems as well as initial experience with Interface Control Documents and avionic protocols (ARINC 429, TCP/IP) are beneficial
  • Teamwork, problem-solving orientation, and independent working style
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
