Tasks
- Analysis and maintenance of software requirements for embedded systems, taking into account system requirements and military certification standards
- Definition and implementation of test strategies for software and system testing in close alignment with the software architecture
- Development and execution of integration and qualification tests at the software test bench, including root cause analysis and the creation of detailed problem reports
- Preparation and maintenance of verification and test documentation in accordance with DO-178C
- Collaboration with system, avionics, and test engineers to define clear, testable, and actionable requirements
- Coordination of testing activities within the team, including synchronization with other engineering disciplines
- Facilitation of agile processes as Scrum Master and support of the team in delivering project results on time
Qualifications
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering or, alternatively, a qualified technical degree (e.g. certified technician or master craftsman) with relevant professional experience
- Extensive professional experience in electrical engineering, engineering, IT, and project management
- Hands-on experience in software development for embedded systems, in software verification, and in the specification/verification of embedded real-time software
- Solid knowledge of agile principles and practices, including agile development (e.g. Scrum)
- Experience with airworthiness processes and certification standards in the aerospace sector, particularly DO-178C
- Business fluent English skills (at least C1) and good German skills (at least B2); French skills are a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Resume in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is strictly required
