Tasks
- Development of system and software solutions for unmanned aerial systems (UAS)
- Creation and maintenance of software specifications such as requirements and design documents
- Planning and execution of software tests and validation
- Support in the integration and testing of software components in the overall system
- Creating technical documentation on development and test results
- Analyzing software problems and assisting with troubleshooting and tracking
- Helping to ensure IT security in software projects
Qualifications
- Completed degree in computer science, software/systems engineering, aerospace engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in software development and software integration
- Experience in creating software specifications (e.g., software requirements specifications, design documents)
- Experience with software testing procedures, verification, and validation
- Basic knowledge of IT security and knowledge of the aviation and/or defense industry are advantageous
- Business fluent German and English skills (at least B2 in each)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
