Responsibilities


  • Software validation: Verify and validate electronic warfare (EW) system requirements within the PSTS environment
  • Software integration: Integrate and maintain EW simulation software components for the Eurofighter PSTS FKEW upgrade project
  • Architecture development: Support the integration of new EW simulation components into existing PSTS infrastructure, focusing on upcoming architectural designs
  • Test case development: Support the creation of test scenarios and test cases specifically for EW simulation validation
  • Qualification activities: Participate as a tester in acceptance tests and qualification activities for EW simulation components
  • Software installation: Support the creation and installation of relevant software loads
  • System representation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate representation of EW systems in the synthetic training environment
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for EW simulation components and test procedures


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering with at least a Master's degree
  • Extensive professional experience in engineering, particularly in the simulation of radar, electronic countermeasures, and electronic support measures systems
  • Several years of professional experience in IT/information systems as well as programming in C, C++, Python, and ADA
  • Knowledge of electronic warfare principles and systems as well as understanding of NATO standards for simulation and training systems
  • Basic skills in MS Office and experience with requirement management tools (DOORS, TFS)
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German language skills beneficial
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
