Responsibilities


  • Procurement activities for Airbus Commercial Aircraft programs within the Cabin Floor to Floor team
  • Tenders and contract negotiations to achieve optimal purchasing conditions according to company requirements
  • Contract management throughout the entire lifecycle (innovation, development, series production, support) and monitoring of supplier performance
  • Supplier relationships managed on a daily basis and implementation of projects to optimize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership
  • Commercial negotiations for product changes in the portfolio led independently
  • Multifunctional teams supported and coordinated in all phases of tender, contract, and contract lifecycle


Qualifications

  • Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain / Logistics, or Supply Chain Quality (at least Bachelor's degree)
  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing as well as in operational and strategic procurement
  • Several years of experience in contract management and initial experience in supply chain management
  • Proficient handling of MS-Excel, MS-Word, SAP, and Google Workspace
  • Good knowledge of project management, process management, and risk management
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German skills are an advantage
  • Experience in finance and with Airbus processes is desirable
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, teamwork, and an independent and proactive way of working
  • CV in English required
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
