We are currently looking for an analytical Strategic Purchaser / Process Manager Aviation for our client Airbus Aerostructures GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder. If you have experience in strategic procurement, digitalization, and process improvement, you can expect to play a key role in an international environment with a direct impact on the future viability of the company. Take responsibility for digital projects and set new standards in procurement.

Tasks

• Controlling the project budget for all projects in the procurement area
• Controlling headcount targets within the purchasing organization
• Contact person for digital sourcing and contract solutions in the Airbus network
• Leading competitive initiatives in non-flying spend
• Project management for the introduction of a new contract lifecycle management system
• Implementation of digitization and management initiatives to secure the future of purchasing
• Interface with other functions such as IT and legal department
• Development and presentation of concepts for process optimization including the use of artificial intelligence
• Regular reporting to management on project progress

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, international management or similar
• Several years of professional experience in project management
• Several years of experience in purchasing, strategic and operational procurement, digitization and process improvement
• In-depth knowledge of SAP / MM-PP and SAP R/3, as well as advanced application knowledge of Click'n Buy (BySide) and confident use of Google Workspace
• Good knowledge of lean management and risk management and experience in the field of artificial intelligence desirable
• Business fluent German and English skills (at least C1)
• CV in English required
• A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
