At Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder, you can expect a challenging role as Manager Strategic Purchasing Logistics & Service Portfolio. In this position, you will act as the interface between the market, suppliers, and internal stakeholders – with responsibility for a strategically relevant service portfolio within the Airbus Group. Bring your negotiating expertise and market knowledge to bear where innovation meets global supply chains.

Tasks
- Strategic management of a service provider portfolio in the field of logistics services
- Conducting tenders, contract negotiations, and supplier management
- Market analysis within the framework of the overarching purchasing strategy
- Supporting multi-function teams, including performance monitoring and claim management
- Establishing and maintaining long-term partnerships with logistics service providers
- Ensuring compliance with purchasing guidelines and legal requirements
- Supporting strategic projects in the areas of sustainability, resilience, and innovation
Qualifications
- Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, international management, or logistics/supply chain management
- Several years of experience in strategic purchasing or supplier management, ideally in an international environment
- Basic knowledge of project management and risk management
- Knowledge of data analysis/data analytics
- Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and English (at least C1)
- Willingness to travel regularly on business (1–2 trips per quarter)
- Resume in English required
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
