The gross annual salary is, depending on qualifications, max. 63,141 €. This position is initially to be filled on a fixed-term basis until 15.03.2029. Responsibilities


  • Dimensioning and stress verification of dynamic system components, considering weight and performance aspects
  • Perform static calculations and fatigue life analyses for metallic and composite components using analytical methods and FE analyses
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate fatigue life analyses for critical components
  • Define and supervise tests for components and systems
  • Monitor flight test campaigns and utilize results for structural assessment
  • Assess quality reports and manufacturing deviations and develop solutions
  • Provide repair and modification substantiation within the production process
  • Offer customer support by answering technical questions and investigating operational incidents


Qualifications

  • Successfully completed degree in Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (at least Bachelor's)
  • Several years of professional experience in engineering, ideally with a focus on stress analysis
  • Experience with common analytical stress methods (e.g., HSB, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young)
  • Very good knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM) with tools such as Hypermesh, Optistruct, NASTRAN, or ABAQUS
  • Business fluent English (at least C1); German language skills advantageous
  • CV in English required
  • Independent working style, teamwork, and good communication skills
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
