At Airbus Operations GmbH in Bremen, you will work as a Structural Analysis Engineer performing structural analysis and justification of damage limits and repairs for high-lift systems. With your knowledge in Finite Element Modelling and static verification methods, you contribute directly to the creation and quality of the Structural Repair Manual – the central documentation for maintenance worldwide.

Responsibilities
- Structural analyses for the justification of allowable damage limits and repairs on high-lift structures
- Finite Element Modelling (FEM) using Nastran for linear and non-linear assessments and post-processing results with HyperView
- Analysis results documented in relevant justification reports for technical approval and authorization
- Input data provided to design teams for the preparation and publication of the Structural Repair Manual (SRM)
- Project coordination to ensure on-time delivery of input data from various internal and external teams
- Technical exchange and coordination with the different SRM skill teams (design, authoring and management)
- Methods development to simplify daily tasks and ensure faster delivery with improved quality of deliverables
Qualifications
- Successfully completed degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (at least Bachelor's degree)
- Many years of experience as a Stress Engineer as well as several years of experience in aircraft construction and project management
- Experience in Finite Element Modelling (FEM) and knowledge of static verification methods for metallic and composite structures
- Detailed specialist knowledge of Nastran; knowledge of Python and HyperView advantageous
- Business fluent English (at least C1); German skills advantageous
- CV in English required
- Strong teamwork skills, pronounced communication skills and independent way of working
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
