Responsibilities


  • Assembly work on components and assemblies for the Eurofighter Section 3/2B
  • Surface protection: Application of sealants and corrosion protection, and repair of damage
  • Sealing of components according to technical specifications
  • Work preparation: Review and sorting of work orders and technical drawings
  • Component preparation: Setting up components and workstations, checking and providing tools (FEMI)
  • Positioning and fixing of components for assembly
  • Quality work with concentrated and independent execution of complex tasks


Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as, e.g., Aircraft Mechanic, Aircraft Builder, Industrial Mechanic, or in a comparable metalworking trade
  • Several years of professional experience in precision mechanics, manufacturing, aircraft construction, or structural assembly
  • Experience in structural mechanics at Airbus is an advantage
  • Business fluent German (at least C1)
  • Basic skills in English (at least A2)
  • Willingness to work shifts in a 2-shift operation and on weekends
  • Teamwork, quality awareness, and focused working style
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
