Tasks

  • Assembly and riveting of structural components in accordance with production documentation
  • Manufacture of assemblies in compliance with applicable aviation standards
  • Preparation of workstations, including reviewing orders and technical drawings
  • Positioning and fixing of CFRP/GFRP components
  • Documentation of assembly steps in line with quality requirements
  • Application of surface protection measures such as sealing and rivet head treatment

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training as aircraft mechanic, industrial mechanic, boat builder, carpenter, process mechanic for plastics and rubber, or in another profession in metal or plastic processing
  • Several years of professional experience in plastics and rubber technology
  • Solid expertise in handling CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic) and GFRP (glass fiber reinforced plastic) is mandatory
  • Proficient German language skills (at least B2), basic English skills (at least A2)
  • Willingness to work in a 2- to 3-shift system
  • A valid and unrestricted work permit for the European Union (student visas are not accepted)
