Tasks
- Assembly and production of riveted joints and structural assemblies according to drawings and manufacturing documentation
- Manufacturing of components in compliance with applicable aerospace standards
- Preparation of work processes, e.g. reviewing job orders, setting up components, and providing manufacturing tools
- Positioning and securing of aircraft components
- Documentation and execution of structural assembly tasks
- Surface protection, such as rivet head sealing or sealing of joints
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician or in another metalworking profession
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing / production as well as in industrial mechanics
- Initial experience in structural mechanics at Airbus is an advantage
- Ability to read technical drawings and confident handling of tools
- Proficient German language skills (at least B2) and basic English language skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in a 2- to 3-shift system
- Careful, quality-oriented working style and a high level of independence
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
